If you update your SSL certificate with a new hostname, you will be required to generate a new API path and API token. Here are the steps we need you to follow to update your API path and API token.
- Login to your Bigcommerce management console
- Click on "Users" in the upper right hand corner
- If you see a blue box with the message, "Looking for API accounts?...", then go to the "Legacy API Update" section below. See screenshot of message below (see screenshot below).
- If you do not see a blue box with a message then go to the "Normal API Update" section below.
- Click on "Go there now" in the blue box with the message.
- Click "Create a Legacy API Account".
- Click on the gear and select "Edit" for the username "Apptive".
- Click on "Generate New Token" (see image below).
- Click "Save".
- Copy and paste the new API Token and the API Path and email them to support@apptive.com.
- Click on the gear and select "Edit" for the email "support@apptive.com"
- Scroll down and click on "Generate New Token" (see image below).
- Click "Save".
- Copy and paste the new API Token and the API Path and email them to support@apptive.com.
