Reconnect Apptive to your Bigcommerce Store using Integrated Apps

On rare occasions, stores can become disconnected from their apps. In order to correct this issue, please follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Bigcommerce admin console.
  2. Click on "Apps" in the left panel
  3. Click on "My Apps" in the top menu (next to "App Store")
  4. If you see Apptive in the list, then we are still installed but no longer have API access. Please do the following:
    1. Click on the gear icon in the lower right corner of the "Apptive" brick and select "Uninstall". 
    2. Click on the "Install" button 
    3. Go through the prompts until you get to the Apptive app builder screen. Once here, simply click on "Apps" in the left hand panel to exit. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RECREATE YOUR APP.
  5. If you don't see Apptive in the list, then we are no longer installed. Please do the following:
    1. Click on "App Store" in the top menu
    2. Click on Apptive
    3. Click on the "Install" button
    4. Go through the prompts until you get to the Apptive app builder screen. Once here, simply click on "Apps" in the left hand panel to exit. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RECREATE YOUR APP.
  6. When you are done, just send an email to support@apptive.com letting us know you've reinstalled Apptive and we'll get your store back up and running!
